Our program is based on the "Total
Immersion Method" which assures a comprehensive approach to the language.
It allows for all the instructions to be held in Spanish, and “immerses”
you in the culture and language. We will give you a placement test
on your first day. Afterwards, you will become part of a small group which
averages 4 students. Depending on student interest and knowledge we
will develop the lessons from various perspectives (business, cultural,
current events, etc.) We also use grammar, conversation, audio-visual,
and reading techniques. The director will personally supervise the academic
development of each group, and he will be available to address any questions
or requests. Your progress will be constantly monitored.
The Total Immersion Method is an excellent
approach, and 
one that is highly respected by most in the teaching
community. Nevertheless, it is not for everyone. We have found that teachers
with a working knowledge of the student’s native language often can
connect better with them. Instead of using the Total Immersion Method, when
possible and feasible we may be able to give instructions in English, Portuguese,
French, German, or Italian instead of Spanish
